Operating exclusively in the field of P&C brokerage, Covéa Risks offers a complete line of insurance solutions for all markets, specially focusing on offers tailored to businesses, its core customers.

In 2009, its gross premiums written totalled 636 million euros, slightly lower than in 2008 (672 million euros). Against a turbulent backdrop, Covéa Risks paid strict attention to risk control and ensured close monitoring, especially of small buildings.

The year featured several high points with the development of new offers in several business areas. A new health insurance contract was launched, as well as an environmental liability solution for businesses which will supplement the current wind insurance contract and coming solar power insurance contract starting in 2010. Tools also changed to adapt to new market uses. For example, brokerage is now done on-line, and extranet features have been improved.

Finally, Covéa Risks also strove to reinforce ties with its most dedicated brokers through its partner clubs. In 2009, the Business Partners' Circle and the Public Carré d'Or offered their members thematic meetings and several events in Paris and the French regions.
