New Worry-Free Service: MMA “Safe”: unlimited, free and secure storage

MMA is offering a new service in its continued effort to simplify the daily lives of French citizens:  an electronic “safe” that is free, secure and available at all times.

In the growing move toward paperless documents, whether government, business (such as taxes, bills and soon, pay slips) or personal (such as photos, videos and music), MMA is offering Internet users a practical and secure space to save, time-stamp and authenticate their documents and easily access them wherever they are.

File all your information without any fear of loss

The MMA Safe provides its users with peace of mind. It lets you save all your important information in a safe area that is always available. And you can find it easily, especially in case of fire, theft (of a car or important papers, for example), loss during a move, or the breakdown of a personal computer.

With this service, you can also safely store all your valuable photos and videos, whether they provide proof (photos of valuable objects or damage related to a claim) or have sentimental value (family photos and videos, for example).

Free of charge and easy to use

The MMA Safe is offered at no cost to all Internet users, with unlimited storage for MMA policyholders.

Accessible from the user area of the mma.fr website, its simple interface makes it easy to create folders and classify documents.

Internet users can directly receive their electronic bills, pay slips and améli.fr statements through the associated deposit e-mail address. With just one click, documents are time-stamped and filed in the MMA Safe’s dedicated folders.

The mobile phone application, which will debut next summer, will make this service even easier to use. Users will not only be able to view documents, but also directly transfer and save all paper documents and photos taken with their phones to their MMA Safe.

The MMA Safe ensures the integrity of your documents and maintains their legal value. The Internet user can obtain time-stamped and certified copies of their important and sensitive papers. MMA guarantees the ongoing availability and privacy of this information, which is hosted on multiple servers by an authorised service provider.

Did you know?
A rental agreement must be kept for five years after the tenant moves out. That is the period of time during which the owner may demand or dispute payment of the rent and fixed costs.
Household appliance bills must be kept for two years.
